How many of us have driven on Highway 163 a little past Eddyville and wondered, just what does Cargill do? The Cargill
Eddyville plant creates food ingredients for products“working to feed the world.” Its 2,000-acre campus is one of the
largest food ingredients operations across the country. Jackie and Bryce will share some insight on what all goes on in the
plant.
Jackie Seekamp is a quality assurance specialist in the utilities department (water, boiler, and wastewater), She graduated
from Central in 2006 majoring in Chemistry and Art. She lives in Pella with her husband, two kids and 3 dogs. Bryce
Bloomquist is a 2011 graduate from Central majoring in exercise science/athletic training. He is the production technician
in the utilities department and is currently a member of the Site Safety Committee and the Implementation Task Force.
